“All I can say is wow, what an amazing experience!
From booking to final drop off at the cruise ship gate, Scuba Elite was 5 stars all across the board. Daphne, my guide, picked me up with a very clearly labeled name board at the gate and drove to the shop where we gathered tanks and weights and misc gear. She was fun to talk to and knew a lot about the history of the island and different fun facts.
The team at the shop were all smiles, very kind, and helpful. As I professional diver myself, I was very impressed with their operation.
Daphne took me out to two beautiful locations on the northern end of the island, and I had a blast. The sights were incredible, and as someone coming from the midwest in the US, it was a breathtaking experience for me.
Bonaire is such an amazing place to dive, and I’m glad I did it with Scuba Elite. If you are diving Bonaire, I highly recommend that you choose Scuba Elite as well!”

We had an absolutely amazing scuba diving experience with Scuba Elite! We cruised on Carnival Magic and had no problems with the pick up at port. Noemi was fantastic from start to finish. She was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and made the entire experience enjoyable. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and cares about making sure her divers have a great time.
Everything was well organized, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a great dive shop with an amazing crew, we highly recommend Scuba Elite and especially Noemi! We would definitely dive with them again on our next adventure! 🐠🤿🌴

5-Star Google Review, August 2026
Three guided shore dives with Scuba Elite during a Carnival Horizon port stop in Bonaire, and it was exactly what I wanted. Caroline and Noemi picked me up right at the cruise terminal and treated me like a friend, not a customer being processed.
My first two dives were just me with a dive master and an intern — essentially private. The third added a husband/wife pair with a dive master. I was working through my new Enriched Air Nitrox certification, and they walked me through it hands-on rather than just supervising from a distance. At one point we passed a group that looked like one guide with eight customers, crowded and chaotic, and our guide moved us off to a quieter part of the reef instead.
Small-group diving was clearly the right call. Dive site choices were excellent — whether that's skill or just Bonaire, it felt like diving in an aquarium. Would dive with them again without hesitation.

Questions Cruise Guests ask before booking with Scuba Elite
Why should I choose Scuba Elite?
Cruise ship days are busy on Bonaire. With us, you don’t join a crowd. You dive with no more than 4 divers per instructor.
That’s how we always dive: personal and unhurried. Your instructor knows these reefs and shows you what you’d miss on your own.
What happens if my cruise ship is late or skips Bonaire?
Ships sometimes change plans. If yours arrives late or skips Bonaire, we first try to reschedule your dives. If that isn’t possible, you get a credit for another visit. Not coming back to Bonaire? Then make sure you have travel insurance with good cancellation cover.
Do I need to be a certified diver to join this 2 Guided Dives Cruise Package?
Yes. You need a scuba certification, such as PADI Open Water Diver or higher. If you want to try diving for the first time on Bonaire, there’s another program: Discover Scuba Diving. We can also tailor this to your needs.
Will I be back on board in time?
Yes. We track your ship in the morning and plan the day around your all-aboard time. We drop you off at the terminal well before you need to be on board.
How many divers will be in the guided diving group?
No more than 4 divers per instructor. That’s how we dive every day, cruise days included.
Where do we meet on Bonaire?
At the cruise terminal in Kralendijk. Look for the board with your name and our burgundy Scuba Elite shirts.
